Leland Champion

For my service scholar project, I visited an Amistad Mission, an orphanage in Bolivia, and interacted and played with the children there. This experience was truly amazing and seeing the kids beam with joy every time they saw us was truly inspiring. We also helped garden on the land where Amistad is, which is used to supply food for the children there. For my service scholar project I will be researching the differences between orphanages in developed countries versus less developed countries from the 1920s until now.
