Ingram Library

The Ingram Library at Ensworth’s Lower/Middle School Campus holds more than 20,000 volumes housed in three areas. Two librarians, Debbie Sandwith and Leslea Gaines, oversee the library, instilling in students a deep love for literature and reading, while teaching them how to satisfy their intellectual curiosity and best make use of the library and available technology.

The library’s learning commons provide for and encourage collaborative learning. Students in Kindergarten through Grade Three meet every week for 30 minute library classes. Students in Grades Four through Six have library class each week for 50 minutes.

Donate Books to Ensworth

There are several opportunities to make donations to Ensworth’s Ingram Library. Many families like to donate a book to celebrate a child’s birthday or honor a special teacher. Bookplates are placed in the gift books to commemorate the donation.
