As you visit our website, I hope that you will enjoy learning about the school and its people and programs. While we can share lots of information here, the only way to discover what makes Ensworth a very special place is to visit us in person.
As you walk through the halls of the Red Gables campus, where our elementary and middle school students learn, and around the quad and hallways at the Devon Farm campus, where our high school students spend their days, you’ll see students and teachers who genuinely enjoy learning together in a welcoming community.
Ensworth is first and foremost an academic institution, and we take our academic responsibilities very seriously, offering a vigorous curriculum in math and science, English, history, and foreign languages. But further, it is our responsibility to prepare our students for life beyond the classroom.
An Ensworth graduate carries forward a tool bag of skills to help that young man or young woman compete and achieve success in the world they will inhabit. Our teachers guide students in developing the core skills of observation, collaboration, communication, analysis, and evaluation. Students learn these skills in a school community that also inspires them to explore their talents – in the classroom, on the athletic fields, and in the arts - and to be empathetic and giving to others, not only in their own community but throughout the world.
